"I am never without guidance."

I read those words as I sat quietly at the end of the day. How true they are. How many times and easily we forget.

Too often we walk our paths controlled solely by our ego. A tiny word that has mighty power in our lives. The dictionary defines ego as "self", "thinking only in terms of oneself". Our ego is only concerned with us as physical individuals. It tries to control all of our reactions to every event. If something cannot be detected by the five senses, then it doesn't exist for the ego. The only reality is the physical universe; materialism is its philosophy. Ego controls us with a very strong weapon: Fear. We dare not be different than everyone else. We fear being wrong, being ridiculed, not working in a right way within man-created time, fear of losing a job, a loved one, being alone. I'm sure you can add to the list.

We forget Infinite Intelligence governs everything from the planets to an ant hill. There is nothing too large or too small for God, including the situations in our personal life. When we rise above the ego we remember that we are not alone. The wisdom of the universe is ours to help us plan our lives and direct us on our path. When you feel the tenseness of ego controlling your life, take a deep breath and tune into divine Spirit for guidance. It will help you deal with every circumstance in your life---with ease and peace.

There is but one Wisdom, one Intelligence, one God Mind. Let your every thought, act, and purpose be guided by this wisdom. We are constantly learning and growing and face challenges on our paths. It is time to overcome the impact of egoism. Remember, you are unique-one with God. Let that love and connection light your path always in all ways.
