PASTOR'S PEN
Scientists tell us that no two snowflakes are alike--when we think of how long this earth has seen snow, it is pretty mind boggling! But when we look at each other, even identical twins, we see there are differences. We look at old photos of relatives and pictures from history, and each person is different, an endless creating of bodies, faces, speech, thinking and it is amazing. No one-size fits all! How wonderful to think that each one of us is unique, special. We are part of Infinite Intelligence, but each an original creation unlike anyone else. And so it is as we walk our paths here on earth. We in Spiritualism do not fit the cookie cutter mold--we are our own design. We have read and studied and moved beyond the lessons of our youth--the lessons recited and memorized along with everyone else in the church or class. We knew there was more and we "broke out" of the control mentality. We also know that we have responsibility for our own growth and changes. No one can do it for us. It is up to us to react, learn, alter our thinking and behavior, as we evolve. While at service we declare our principles, they are not "shalts" and "shalt nots". We know it is okay to think, study...to branch out and question. We are free to be ourselves as we walk our individual paths, as we work with spirit and Infinite Intelligence, trusting the flow of positive that fills us as we celebrate who we are and our individual progress. Be true to who you are and stand tall as you walk your path. Honor who you are--a wonderful part of Infinite Intelligence's universe.
