A Sanctuary of Infinite Spirit

The Rev. Patricia Anne Duffield, NST was born in Queens, NY where she spent the first four years of her education attending St. Pascal Babylon R. C. Church in St. Albans.  When she moved to Wantagh, L.I., her eyes were opened to broader areas of learning.  It began a quest for knowledge and experiencing life that continues to this day.

From an early-age awareness she knew there had to be more than man’s interpretation of the universe and the taught man-created rules. At an early age she began delving into metaphysical, religious, and esoteric studies, seeking and learning, as well as developing her channeling for healing energies and her mediumship gifts.  In the early 1990s she found Spiritualism and knew she had found a home---a place of like-minded thinkers who encouraged her further development and learning as well as teaching personal responsibility and the Infinite Intelligence universal love connection.

She is a retired high school and business college teacher as well as a NY State certified guidance counselor.  This background has been a help working with people as a minister as well as with counseling and her SCIO business. 

A graduate of the Morris Pratt Institute, she is a Certified Medium, Commissioned Healer, a National Spiritualist Teacher and a missionary.  The Rev, Patricia Anne Duffield, NST, was ordained December 8, 2002 at A Sanctuary of Infinite Spirit, NSAC, where she currently serves as pastor.

Rev.Duffield shares her home with her spoiled cat babies who enjoy the energies of the classes and meditations held there.  She also enjoys her outdoor critters and the beauty of nature and its seasons on her property.  She enjoys travel and looks forward to many future years of continuing to board planes and ships, as well as taking off in the car to tour or serve. 

A former church board president, Rev. Duffield currently serves as an officer on the National Healers and the National Mediums boards.  She is also a member of two National committees:  Ethics and Long Range Planning.  She holds membership in and enjoys traveling to the meetings around the world of the International Spiritualist Federation.  Locally, believing it is important to give back to your community and positive change will come only if we all are involved, Rev. Pat is Recording Secretary on the Lake Ronkonkoma Civic Organization, Inc. board, where she also serves a co-chair of Events and is on the CR16 Land Use committee.  She is an active member of the Friends of Sachem Library as well as a member of the Historic Society.  For fun she enjoys participating in local Long Island activities, especially when she can dress in her 1860s outfits.  Turning cooking into a hobby when she realized she would be doing it for life (and she is still looking for a good angle for cleaning), Pat has had several word-search puzzles as well as articles on Spiritualism and Enneagrams published.  From reading, writing, music, painting, needlework and diversified crafts as well as her community and church work/interests, her life is full.  But her main love is working with people and helping them to develop to their fullest potential.
